The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), with the support of the Inter-American Defense Foundation (FID), will hold a virtual meeting of the Council of Delegates on \u201cMilitary Challenges in Times of Crisis\u201d on May 7, 2020, at 10 AM \u00bb, to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic and the implications for the Armed Forces and Security Forces in the Western Hemisphere. The virtual meeting will address shared challenges in the Americas, as well as country-specific challenges, with a focus on: cyber defense, cyber security, transnational organized crime and border security. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Participants: Delegations from the IADB and the Hemispheric Security Council of the Organization of American States (OAS), as well as cyber defense authorities, border security authorities and experts in transnational organized crime from the Ministries of Defense of the Western Hemisphere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
