The military ceremony took place at the parade ground of the Caldas Military Canton, in Bogot\u00e1, and was presided over by the Commander of the Colombian National Army, Major General Luis Mauricio Ospina Guti\u00e9rrez. The members of the Group of Inter-American Technical Advisors in Colombia of the Inter-American Defense Board, Lieutenant Colonel Cl\u00e1udio Santos Bispo and Captain of the Marine Infantry Gustavo Lopes da Silva Freitas, participated in the ceremony and received the Military Medal from the hands of General Ospina. Torre de Castilla\u201d, awarded to those who stand out for their distinguished services to the Arm of Engineers of the National Army of Colombia.
