On April 15, the Inter-American Defense Board held, at the Casa del Soldado, a new edition of its traditional \u201cCultural Meeting of the Americas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promoted annually, the main objective of the event is to contribute, through the cultural expression of the countries of the American continent - recognized and appreciated throughout the world for its unique characteristics -, to strengthen the historical ties of friendship and respect that unite the towns of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the words of Brigadier General Porfirio Fuentes V\u00e9lez (Mexico), General Director of the IADB Secretariat, the Cultural Meeting of the Americas represents a great opportunity to bring together, in an atmosphere of harmony and camaraderie, representatives of the most diverse nations. of the continent, gathered around the Organization of American States (OAS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stands from the following countries participated in the event: Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
