{"id":42492,"date":"2023-10-05T10:21:31","date_gmt":"2023-10-05T14:21:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jid.org\/?p=39602"},"modified":"2023-10-05T10:21:31","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T14:21:31","slug":"jid-recibe-visita-de-la-escuela-de-comando-y-estado-mayor-del-ejercito-de-brasil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jid.org\/en\/jid-recibe-visita-de-la-escuela-de-comando-y-estado-mayor-del-ejercito-de-brasil\/","title":{"rendered":"JID receives visit from the Command and General Staff School of the Brazilian Army"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On September 27, the Inter-American Defense Board received a visit from a delegation from the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff School (ECEME).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Composed of 36 students from the Policy, Strategy and Senior Management Course of the Brazilian Army and three students from the International Strategic Studies Course, on a study trip to Washington, DC, the delegation was headed by Colonel Rafael Cunha de Almeida, Chief of the Division of Policy and Strategy of ECEME.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Soldier&#039;s House, the students were received by Counselor M\u00e1rcio Rebou\u00e7as, representative of the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the Organization of American States (OAS); by Brigadier General Marco Antonio \u00c1lvarez Reyes (Mexico), President of the Council of Delegates of the IADB; by Brigadier Fl\u00e1vio Luiz de Oliveira Pinto (Brazil), Director General of the Secretariat; and by Brigadier General N\u00e9stor Zalazar Echauri (Paraguay), vice president of the Council of Delegates, in addition to Brigadier General Giovanni Moretto, head of the Brazilian Representation before the Inter-American Defense Board (RBJID).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the agenda planned for the visitors, Councilor M\u00e1rcio Rebou\u00e7as gave a conference on the organization, objectives and activities of the OAS, while General Moretto spoke about the responsibilities in charge of the RBJID.
