On March 4, the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) received a visit from representatives of the Permanent Secretariat of the Inter-American Naval Conference (SPCNI), in a meeting aimed at strengthening hemispheric cooperation in maritime security and defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, an institutional presentation was given on the mission, organization and main initiatives of the SPCNI, highlighting the role of the Inter-American Naval Conference and its specialized conferences as key spaces for technical cooperation and the exchange of experiences among the navies of the hemisphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening interoperability and regional maritime security were also discussed, including Naval Vision 2050, conceived as a long-term cooperation framework for the navies of the Western Hemisphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This meeting strengthened institutional ties, promoted the exchange of best practices, and continued to drive joint actions in favor of maritime security and stability in the Americas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
