On Wednesday, April 15, the Leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) held a working meeting with Ambassador Raul Florentin Antola of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Paraguay to the Organization of American States \u2013 OAS, with the purpose of making a protocol visit to present the work carried out and the achievements obtained by the IADB in matters of hemispheric security and defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IADB was represented by Major General C\u00e9sar Macedo Garc\u00eda, President of the Council of Delegates, Major General Reinaldo Salgado Beato, Director General of the IADB Secretariat, and Brigadier General Rogelio Amador, Head of Studies at the Inter-American Defense College, and the Delegate of Paraguay to the IADB, Brigadier General Nelson Augusto Ortiz Espinoza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, topics of common interest were addressed related to the role of the IADB as a technical, consultative and educational advisory body of the OAS, highlighting its contribution to strengthening institutional capacities and cooperation among member states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, Ambassador Raul Florentin Antola highlighted the work of the IADB and expressed his interest in continuing to promote initiatives that contribute to the development of a common security and defense agenda for the hemisphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
