The activity was part of the Maritime Policy and Strategy Course (C-PEM) program and was intended to provide an overview of the security of the American continent.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, the President of the Council of Delegates, <strong>General Luciano Jos\u00e9 Penna Division<\/strong>, presented a panel on the structure and organization of the IADB; and the Counselor of the Brazilian Representation before the Organization of American States (OAS), <strong>Mr. Eloi Ritter Filho<\/strong>, on this occasion on behalf of Ambassador Fernando Simas Magalh\u00e3es, discussed the functioning of the OAS and Brazil&#039;s role in this international organization.<\/p>\n<p>Also present at the presentations were the Vice President of the Council of Delegates, the <strong>Brigadier General Carlos Humberto Casta\u00f1eda Nassi<\/strong>, Head of the IADB Representation of Brazil, <strong>Rear Admiral Nelson Nunes da Rosa<\/strong>, Director of EGN, <strong>Rear Admiral Edgar Luiz Siqueira Barbosa<\/strong> and Brazilian naval attach\u00e9 in the US and Canada, <strong>Rear Admiral Amaury Calheiros Boite Junior<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The C-PEM lasts for one school year and is imbued with the application of high-level maritime planning systems to enable the Student Officers (OAs) to adequately analyze the current Force arrangements and the future needs of the Navy to comply with the
