The Commander of the Brazilian Army, Army General Edson Leal Pujol<\/strong>, was received at the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), on March 12, by members of the IADB Leadership: President of the Council of Delegates, Major General Luciano Jos\u00e9 Penna<\/strong>, Director General of the IADB Secretariat, Brigadier General Juan Jos\u00e9 G\u00f3mez Ruiz<\/strong> and Director of the Inter-American Defense College, Brigadier General James E. Taylor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the President of the Council of Delegates made a presentation on the structure of the Board and, at the end, General Pujol highlighted the importance of maintaining multilateralism in our continent, in view of the challenges related to security and defense. .<\/p>\n

Also present at the activity were the Counselor of the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the Organization of American States (OAS), the Mr. El\u00f3i Ritter Filho<\/strong>, the Head of Representation of Brazil in the IADB, the Rear Admiral Nelson Nunes da Rosa<\/strong>, the Army Attach\u00e9 to the United States of America and Canada, Brigadier General Josias Pedrotti da Rosa<\/strong>, Vice President of the Council of Delegates, Brigadier General Carlos Humberto Casta\u00f1eda Nassi<\/strong> and Deputy Director of the Inter-American Defense College, Rear Admiral S\u00edlvio Luis dos Santos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
