The Inter-American Defense Board and the Chilean Air Force will hold the Seminar “The implementation of the gender perspective in the armed forces: operational implications, progress and challenges.”
In it, the relevance and impact of considering the gender perspective in real operations will be presented. Likewise, the progress and best practices in the implementation of United Nations Resolution No. 1325 will be presented, in accordance with the experiences of the European Union, the United States Southern Command, the Inter-American Defense Board, the Ministry of Defense of Chile and the Chilean Air Force.
This will be a valuable opportunity to receive information that allows defense and security organizations, civil groups and the general public to obtain new perspectives on the advancement of Women, Peace and Security.
