The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) is pleased to invite you to the International Seminar on Women, Peace and Security, which will take place on March 19, 2025, of 09:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Washington, DC local time), in virtual format. The broadcast will be carried out through the official channels of the JID on the Zoom and YouTube platforms, and will be offered Simultaneous translation in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
The seminar will address the topic: "Strategies for the Incorporation of Women in Operational Activities of the Armed Forces", with the aim of promoting the exchange of experiences, good practices and lessons learned on the strategies implemented to integrate women into operational roles, from their recruitment, training, education and training, to their active participation within an operational organizational structure.
