On Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Washington, DC, USA time), the Seminar: "Good Practices and Support Tools for Arms and Ammunition Management" will be held. It has been organized by the Inter-American Defense Board in coordination with the OAS Assistance Program for Arms and Ammunition Control.
The seminar will bring together leading speakers and experts in Arms Management from member countries and international organizations, who will address crucial topics. The aim is to strengthen the capacities of OAS member states by sharing cooperation and assistance mechanisms in ammunition management and available tools for their control, in order to prevent their diversion to non-state actors, reduce the risks of unplanned explosions, and contribute to regional security and stability.
The seminar can be attended through the IADB's YouTube channels, in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
