Undersecretary of Advisory Services – SSA

The main purpose of the Undersecretary of Advisory Services – SSA is to provide technical advisory services to the Council of Delegates and other areas of the Secretariat of the Inter-American Defense Board on issues related to military and defense matters. Among its objectives is to provide specialized advice on these matters to support the work and functions of the Council and the other bodies of the IADB. Likewise, it seeks to have qualified personnel assigned by the member states who can provide expert technical knowledge on these problems of hemispheric interest.
