The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) participated in the XII Inter-American Specialized Naval Conference of Intelligence Directors (CNIE-DI), which was held in Bogotá, Colombia, from September 23 to 27.
Admirals and senior officials from 17 countries were present at the Conference. The IADB was represented by the Head of the Information Analysis and Management Division of the Board, Colonel Francisco Ismael Pérez González.
The activity has made it possible to analyze and propose actions to address transnational threats that can affect hemispheric security, economies and societies, such as the growth of illegal fishing, drug trafficking, arms trafficking and immigration.
