The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) dresses up with the celebration of the 77th anniversary of its founding, today, March 26 of this year, 2019 at the Casa del Soldado facilities, with the distinguished assistance of the President of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS), Ambassador Carlos Alberto Calles, as well as by the Leadership of the Board, made up of General Luis Rodríguez Bucio (President of the Council of Delegates), by Major General James Taylor (Director of the Inter-American College of Defense), by Colonel Darren D. Lynn Director of the Undersecretary of Advisory Services (SSA) on behalf of the Director General of the IADB Secretariat and by General Carlos Humberto Castañeda Nassi (Vice President of the Council of Delegates).
During the development of the festive activities, Permanent Representatives to the OAS, Ambassadors to the United States, Ministers, former Members of the Leadership, Delegates and Observers to the IADB, General Officials, authorities and important personalities linked to this entity of the IADB were also present. OAS, highlighting as an outstanding note the announcement of the reincorporation of Ecuador as part of the Council of Delegates of the IADB, through the Ministry of Defense of that country.
