On September 10 of this year, the visit of 30 students from the General Staff Course of the Colombian War College – “General Rafael Reyes Prieto School” was received at the Casa del Soldado, headed by Brigadier General Sergio Andrés Garzón Vélez of the Colombian Air Force, as well as members of the Colombian delegation to the IADB, who carried out this visit as part of their scheduled activities on the occasion of their geostrategic studies trip to the United States of America. The distinguished delegation was received by Brigadier General Luis Rodríguez Bucio, President of the Council of Delegates, who presented the organization and functions of the IADB, and by General Stephen Lacroix, General Director of the IADB Secretariat.
With this visit, the IADB promotes interaction and cooperation with institutions and study centers in the field of security and defense at the hemispheric level and strengthens ties of friendship and collaboration with sister countries on the continent.
