On November 25, the designated Vice Director of the Inter-American Defense College (CID), Brigadeiro do Ar (Brazil) Leonardo Chaves Rodrigues, made a protocol visit to the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), together with the current Vice Director, Rear Admiral Silvio Luis dos Santos.
On that occasion, Brigadeiro Leonardo visited part of the IADB facilities, and the President of the Council of Delegates, Major General Luciano José Penna, made a presentation on the structure and future prospects of our Board.
Brigadeiro Leonardo was elected at the IADB Council of Delegates meeting No. 1421, held on May 19, 2020. This meeting was historic because it was the first meeting of the Council of Delegates held by videoconference.
