This event will take place virtually on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 0900 to 1300 hours from Washington DC through the Zoom Platform and the YouTube Channel of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), and its purpose is to disseminate experiences successful and lessons learned regarding the integration of the gender perspective in the Armed Forces and Security Forces of the Americas.
At this conference, knowledge, lessons learned and successful experiences on the integration of the gender perspective in the Field of Defense and Security will be presented and disseminated, particularly in peace operations, military and security operations, in education, recruitment and development of military women, etc. Experiences of great value that will be presented to the participants with the purpose of increasing their professional knowledge in these topics that imply a challenge for both decision makers and operational personnel (tactical and operational level).
