On January 8, 2019, the President of the Council of Delegates of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), Brigadier General Luis Rodríguez Bucio, accompanied by the Director General of the IADB Secretariat, Brigadier General Stephen M. Lacroix and of the Vice President of the Council of Delegates, Brigadier General Carlos H. Castañeda Nassi, led the farewell ceremony of the Head of the Peruvian Delegation to the IADB, Brigadier General Carlos Enrique Flores Cabrera, who completed his official commission on January 4 In this city. 
During this event, the IADB Leadership recognized the brilliant work and always important contributions and support of General Flores to the Inter-American Defense Board, during his management as Head of the Peruvian Delegation to the IADB.
With this ceremony, the IADB promotes interaction and cooperation with the Member States of this Entity of the Organization of American States (OAS), strengthening and strengthening the ties of friendship and collaboration between the brother countries of the Hemisphere.
