On October 12, the President of the Council of Delegates, Vice Admiral Alexandre Rabello de Faria and the Director General of the IADB Secretariat, Brigadier General Porfirio Fuentes Vélez, received the Deputy Director of the Inter-American Defense College (CID), Brigadier Ar Leonardo Chaves Rodrigues and the Chief of Studies of the CID, Brigadier General DEM Jorge Ramírez Zúñiga.
The visit to the Casa del Soldado was made up of 20 teachers and staff, as well as 68 students from class 62 of the CID from 14 countries in the Americas. On the occasion, the President of the Council of Delegates, Vice Admiral Rabello, addressed the hemispheric defense scenario in the common agendas of the member countries of the Organization of American States, as it is a topic of great importance for the objectives of the course that is currently are developing.
