On November 14, the General Director of the IADB Secretariat, Brigadier General Porfirio Fuentes Vélez, congratulated First Sergeant Ana Laura Olvera Arellanos and First Sergeant Leandro Alves Rodrigues Pessoa, for having reached the first places and becoming champions of the run/walk (6 km) organized by the Inter-American Defense College (CID). The race took place on November 10 and culminated the commemorative events of the 60th anniversary of the CID.
