This joint JID-OAS virtual workshop will take place on March 29, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Its objective is to disseminate the experiences and good practices obtained by the States Parties, in the application of the methodology and procedures during the processes of destruction of weapons, ammunition and explosives, as well as to contribute to preventing, combating and eradicating their illicit manufacture and trafficking. It is aimed at members of the Ministries of Defense of the Hemisphere, Institutes of Security and Defense Studies, Armed and Police Forces of Latin America, Military and Defense Academies, Training Schools of the Armed Forces, Civilian Arms Control Institutions and Centers for Regional Security Studies.
