In November, the Inter-American Defense Board received a visit from students from the Higher War School and the Center for Higher National Studies – Postgraduate School (CAENEPG) of Peru.
As part of the exhibition agenda, visitors attended a conference on the structure of the Inter-American Defense Board and some of the main advisory activities that the organization provides to its member states on important topics, such as Cyberdefense, Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, the Women, Peace and Security agenda, Environmental Protection and Disaster Cooperation.
In the historic facilities of the Casa del Soldado, the visitors were received by Brigadier Flávio Luiz de Oliveira Pinto (Brazil), Director General of the Secretariat, and Brigadier General Néstor Zalazar Echauri (Paraguay), vice president of the Council of Delegates, accompanied by Lieutenant General Carlos Orlando Rios, Head of the Peruvian Delegation to the IADB.
