On May 7, the signing of the Technical Cooperation Agreement between the Italian Carabinieri and the Inter-American Defense Board took place, establishing the basis for reciprocal cooperation to promote and conduct studies, scientific research, and activities of mutual interest in matters related to military and defense issues.
The Italian delegation consisted of:
- Lt. Gen. Marco MINICUCCI, Carabinieri Deputy General Commander;
- MG Davide MARZINOTTO, Defense Attaché at the Embassy of Italy in Washington DC
- BG Pietro CARROZZA, Deputy Head II Department – Carabinieri General HQs
- Col. Augusto RUGGERI, International Cooperation Office – Carabinieri General HQs
- Lt. Col. Pierangelo IANNICCA, Assistant Defense Attaché and Carabinieri Attaché at the Embassy of Italy in Washington DC;
- Maj. Leonardo BRICCA, AdC of the Deputy General Commander.
