On October 29, 2025, in the Hall of Flags at the Soldiers' House, the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) Medal Conferral Ceremony was held for officers and technicians completing their service in November and returning to their home countries. Family members and all military personnel participated in the event, which was presided over by the IADB leadership. The recipients were Commander Ricardo Barillo, Coordinator of the Inter-American Organizations Section of the Brazilian Ministry of Defense; Colonel Juan Alarcón, Vice-Secretary of Service; Captain Jorge Saldana, Vice-Secretary of Service; and Technician Rubén Romero, Human Resources Advisor.
