On Monday, January 12, at our headquarters located on F Street in Washington, DC, a welcoming ceremony was held for the newly appointed staff to serve on the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB).
During the formal ceremony, the institutional badges were presented, which represent membership in this advisory entity of the highest technical, consultative and educational level.
The ceremony was presided over by the Director General of the Secretariat of the Inter-American Defense Board, Major General Reinaldo Salgado Beato, and the Vice President of the Council of Delegates, Brigadier General Eduardo Villegas Velázquez, who officially welcomed the new personnel, highlighting the commitment, professionalism, and dedication to service that characterize the institution.
