The leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) held a working meeting with the Ambassador of Peru to the Organization of American States, Rodolfo Coronado, with the purpose of strengthening cooperation ties and dialogue on hemispheric security and defense.
The IADB was represented by Major General César Macedo García, Chairman of the Council of Delegates, and Major General Reinaldo Salgado Beato, Director General of the IADB Secretariat.
During the meeting, topics of common interest were addressed related to the role of the IADB as a technical, consultative and educational advisory body of the OAS, highlighting its contribution to strengthening institutional capacities and cooperation among member states.
For his part, Ambassador Rodolfo Coronado highlighted the work of the IADB and expressed his interest in continuing to promote initiatives that contribute to the development of a common agenda on security and defense in the hemisphere.
