On Thursday, April 9, the Leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), as well as the military and civilian personnel that make up this body, participated in the VIII Hemispheric Security Forum, organized by the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, in Washington, DC
During the event, topics of regional interest related to hemispheric security and defense were addressed, as well as strategic alternatives aimed at preserving the general well-being of our continent.
The forum featured the participation of prominent panelists, academic authorities, and officials from the Organization of American States (OAS), who, based on their experience, professional background, and specialized knowledge, shared valuable analyses and perspectives with the public that enriched the understanding of issues of high relevance to the region.
