On Thursday, April 23, the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) participated in a working meeting at the Office of Foreign Missions (OFM), where key aspects related to the formats were addressed. EAD (Employment Authorization Document) and DWA, essential for managing work permits in the United States with USCIS.

During the meeting, procedures, requirements and best practices aimed at optimizing the processing of these applications were reviewed, highlighting the importance of maintaining unified and updated criteria that allow streamlining the processes for the benefit of dependents.

This type of space strengthens communication channels between the OFM and the JID, promoting more efficient, timely coordination aligned with current regulations.

The JID's active participation in these initiatives throughout the year reaffirms the institutional commitment to the well-being of dependents, facilitating their integration into the workplace through clearer, more agile and effective processes.
