On Tuesday, April 28, the Director General of the Secretariat of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), Major General Reinaldo Salgado Beato, welcomed the Director of the Inter-American Defense College, Major General Joshep M. Lestorti, who made a working visit to the IADB headquarters, with the purpose of strengthening institutional coordination and reaffirming the commitment to joint work as a member of the leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board.
During the meeting, topics related to administrative management, organizational strengthening, the importance of the Inter-American College as a fundamental part of the organization, the achievements reached, projects and the support provided by the Organization of American States (OAS) were addressed.
Likewise, both authorities highlighted the work of the Armed Forces, Security Forces and representatives of the Member States in favor of defense, security and hemispheric cooperation, and the fulfillment of the mission.
The visit concluded with a tour of the facilities of the Inter-American Defense Board.
