The Inter-American Defense Board (JID) received, on October 9, students from Class 59 of the Inter-American Defense College (CID), an educational institution of the JID System that prepares Military Officers, National Police and Civilian Government Officials of the OAS member states to assume high strategic level positions within their governments, through postgraduate and advanced academic programs in defense, security and disciplines related to the hemisphere.
The visit was part of the CID's academic program and provided the students with an overview of the structure and functions developed by the IADB in matters of hemispheric security and defense.
