On December 3, a conference will be held to address the successful experiences of national, supranational organizations and NGOs that have had the opportunity to cooperate in humanitarian assistance in the event of natural disasters on the American continent.
During the event, the actions taken in the Bahamas after Hurricane Dorian will be explored, which hit the sister country hard, but left a mark of solidarity and international cooperation that can serve as a parameter for similar situations that may occur in the hemisphere.
Brazil will address experiences fighting forest fires in the Amazon and actions to receive immigrants on the border with Venezuela.
Finally, the experience of Colombia will also be presented on the issue of immigration.
