The Inter-American Defense Board held the ceremony for the change of authority of the Presidency of the Council of Delegates and presentation of Division General Luciano José Penna, of the Brazilian Army, as the new President of the Council of Delegates, the highest representative body of this entity of the OAS, which develops and adopts policies and activities of the Board, in line with the guidelines established by the General Assembly of the Organization. Several authorities, such as Ambassadors, Permanent Representatives to the OAS, Permanent Delegates and Observers to the IADB, as well as other authorities of the Brazilian State, attended this ceremony.
