On March 24, during the 1484th Ordinary Meeting, in the "Simon Bolivar Hall" of the historic building of the Organization of American States (OAS), the ceremony was held to award the medal of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), which is the highest distinction given to people and institutions that have contributed exceptionally to the strengthening of security and defense in our continent.
The ceremony was presided over by the IADB Leadership and was attended by the Secretary General of the OAS, Ambassador Albert Ramdin, the Assistant Secretary General of the OAS, Ambassador Laura Gil, Lieutenant General Carlos Presti, Minister of Defense of the Argentine Republic and Major General Francisco Leana Ojeda, Commander of the Mexican Army.
