During the Ordinary Meeting of the Council of Delegates of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), held on April 20, 2021, the General Brigadier Salvatore RUSSO made a presentation on the functions of the Italian Guardia di Finanza.
During the activity, the Guardia di Finanza offered the IADB the opportunity to participate in the following free e-learning courses in English, Spanish and French, which will be scheduled in early 2022:
– «International principle of combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism».
– «The economic-financial method for the aggressive confiscation of the assets of organized crime».
– «Global project on taxation and crime – basic course».
The Guardia di Finanza is a police force subordinate to the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance, which carries out investigations against economic and financial crimes, at national and international level.
