On January 21, 2020, members of the Leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), the Major General Luciano José Penna, he Brigadier General James E. Taylor and the Brigadier General Juan José Gómez Ruiz, participated in a working meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Ambassador Luis Almagro Lemes.
During the meeting, topics were discussed such as the need to expand the presence of the IADB with the OAS, the possibility of accrediting new Delegates from absent Countries, increasing resources to maintain the “Casa del Soldado” and the intention to increase the presence of OAS members in Conferences and Seminars organized by members of the IADB system.
