Brigadier General Luis Rodríguez Bucio, President of the Council of Delegates of the IADB, participated in the extraordinary session of the Permanent Council of the OAS held on March 22 in the “Simón Bolívar” room of the main building of that Organization, under the topic : «Vulnerability and Resilience: a transversal approach». General Bucio presented to the Ambassadors of the OAS member countries the topic called: "The role of the Armed Forces in rapid response to natural disasters and in non-traditional tasks to confront and mitigate new threats and concerns." This presentation showed the role played by the IADB and the military institutions of the Hemisphere in the field of natural disasters and multidimensional threats, in order to contribute to the achievement of matters of interest to the OAS and its Member States.
