On Tuesday, April 14, the 1st Forum of Experts in Counter Drone Operations in the Republic of Ecuador continued.
During the forum, presentations were given on the organization of drones and counter-drone projects within the Ecuadorian Armed Forces, held at the facilities of the Army Aviation Brigade No. 15 “Paquisha.” The capabilities of these forces were showcased to counter-drone operations experts from IADB member countries, and the experts worked in groups to analyze the drone threat as a real issue, given that drones are currently used as low-cost, highly lethal weapons adaptable to all environments.
