JID establishes a working meeting for the integration of the Strategic Plan

On January 9, the IADB Leadership and the IADB Strategic Plan working group made up of the three IADB bodies held a meeting to update the Strategic Plan that will guide and direct the work of this Multilateral Organization in the period 2026-2030.

During the meeting, the policies and guidelines to be considered in order to face current hemispheric challenges were detailed, in compliance with the mandates of the OAS and its Charter, and of course the statutes of the IADB. It should be noted that this plan will contain objectives, strategies, goals to be achieved and performance indicators so that its implementation and supervision will be objective throughout the five years that this high-level document of the Organization will be in force.

Finally, it was highlighted that cooperation, collaboration and dialogue between the member states of the IADB, the Armed Forces of land, sea and air, as well as the police, will multiply efforts to address threats, concerns and other challenges in the American Continent through this strategic planning instrument.
