In the week of November 6 to 10, Committee XLVI of the System of Cooperation between the American Air Forces (SICOFAA) took place, which discussed the topics of Air Operations and Airspace Control.
The event was held in the city of Santiago, Chile. The Inter-American Defense Board participated as a special guest and was represented by Colonel Orlando Melvin Ugaz Bartolo (Peru), Head of the Disaster Cooperation Division.
The mission of SICOFAA is to promote the exchange of experiences, knowledge and training that allows the strengthening of the capabilities of the Air Force and its equivalents, in order to provide support to the requirements of its members.
