The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) is represented in the Working Group on Gender Perspective as a transversal axis in Defense and Security Policies, held in Panama City, by the Commissioner Elida Itzei Ortega García. This event is an integral part of the XIV Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas (CMDA) and aimed to exchange experiences and systematize shared information, in order to prepare a good practices report on the topic under discussion.
Countries such as Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, United States of America, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Trinidad and Tobago participated.
On the occasion, Commissioner Elida, representing the Leadership of the JID System, presented a plaque to the Vice Minister of Security of the Republic of Panama, His Excellency Ivor Pitty, event organizer.
