On May 10, the Inter-American Defense Board received a visit from the Vice Commander General of the Carabinieri of Italy, Generale di Corpo d'Armata Riccardo Galletta.
Accompanied by a delegation, General Galletta visited the IADB facilities and held a meeting with its leadership, during which he attended a presentation on the work carried out by the Board to promote hemispheric confidence and security and the activities currently being carried out. at the level of the institution, carried out by Colonel Matthew Heim, Director of the Undersecretary of Advisory Services.
At the Casa del Soldado the delegation was received by the General Director of the IADB Secretariat, Major-Brigadeiro do Ar Flavio Luiz de Oliveira Pinto (Brazil); the President of the Council of Delegates, General Marco Antonio Álvarez Reyes (Mexico); the Director of the Inter-American Defense College, General Richard Heitkamp (USA); and the Vice President of the Council of Delegates, General Carlos Bazán Barrios (Paraguay).
