On March 3, the Director General of the Secretariat of the Inter-American Defense Board, Brigadier General Juan José Gómez Ruiz, representing the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), signed a technical cooperation agreement with the University of the Armed Forces of Ecuador (UFA) that will allow mutual assistance in areas of common interest, within the academic and technical field of Security and Defense. Furthermore, this agreement will strengthen relations between the institutions, providing a positive effect for the region and the full use of human resources, infrastructure and equipment available in each of the institutions.
