On November 12, FAP Colonel Luis Tolmos Valdivia, as representative of the Inter-American Defense Board, attended the 50th Ordinary Meeting of the Superior Council of the Conference of Central American Armed Forces (CFAC), at the facilities of the Ministry of National Defense of Guatemala, where the transfer of command of the Pro-Tempore General Secretariat of the CFAC to the Military Armed Forces of El Salvador took place.
The event was attended by Members of the CFAC Higher Council, Military Observers, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Central American Parliament, Representatives of the Armed Forces of the CFAC member countries, special guests and specialists.
At this meeting, topics of regional interest were shared, taking advantage of the framework of the 27th anniversary of the Pro-Tempore General Secretary of the CFAC; the IADB was also invited to sign the golden book at the Ministry of National Defense of Guatemala.
