The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB), in coordination with the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI) and the Conference of Defense Ministers of the Americas (CMDA), will carry out a Disaster Response Simulation exercise.
The target audience of this event are the Delegations of the member countries of the IADB, the members of the Inter-American Committee for Disaster Reduction (ICDRN), the members of the Pro Tempore Secretariat of the CMDA, the national authorities in charge of the Management of Disaster Risk (GRD) and Civil Protection of the member countries of the Organization of American States (OAS) and the CMDA, directorates of departments or secretariats related to DRM and Civil Protection of the Ministries of Defense and health, the Specialized Military Units in response to disasters, those responsible for the Specialized Military Conferences such as: Conference of American Armies (CEA), System of Cooperation between the American Air Forces (SICOFAA) and Inter-American Naval Conference (CNI) and people, experts and students of Courses and Diplomas in the DRM specialty.
The exercise will be on May 26 and 27 and can be accompanied by those interested through the Zoom and YouTube Platforms.
