On June 15, 2021, the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) received the President of the Hemispheric Security Commission of the Organization of American States (OAS), Ambassador Rita Claverie Díaz de Sciolli.
During the visit, Ambassador Rita Claverie Díaz Sciolli discussed issues related to hemispheric security with the President of the Council of Delegates, Major General Luciano José Penna. The elected President of the Council of Delegates, Vice Admiral Alexandre Rabello de Faria, who will be sworn in on June 22, during Ordinary Meeting No. 1433, was also presented to the Ambassador.
