This March 8, we commemorate the representative date of the sacrifices, legacy and significance that the female gender has in the transformation of the hemisphere through work and equity that has allowed the empowerment of Women.
The Military Forces of the continent value the contributions, changes and evolution that the entry and participation of women has brought to our institutions, as a fundamental axis of the transformation of society and the hemisphere.
In a significant ceremony, held at the “Casa del Soldado” presided over by Vice Admiral Alexandre Rabello de Faria, President of the Council of Delegates and Brigadier General Porfirio Fuentes Vélez, General Director of the IADB Secretariat, the sacrifice, contribution and legacy that allow us today to have female references in all positions and hierarchical ranks, promotion and positioning that has not occurred only for the defense of gender equality, but is due to capacity, training, leadership and achievements achieved throughout the career of arms and in society, qualities that increase the efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of what Military does.
