From April 1 to 4, 2025, the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) had a significant participation in the 15th edition of the Defense and Security Fair, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (LAAD Defense & Security 2025), the most relevant event in Latin America in the areas of defense and security.
The fair brought together senior military officials, police forces, special forces units, defense and security industry leaders, and representatives of government agencies.
With a delegation composed of Her Excellency Ambassador Jacinth Henry Martin, President of the Committee on Hemispheric Security and Permanent Representative of
St. Kitts and Nevis to the OAS, along with the IADB leadership and delegates accredited to this international organization, the IADB sought to identify new opportunities for cooperation and consolidate trust among member countries in matters of defense and security.
Through its presence at this event, the IADB reaffirms its commitment to hemispheric cooperation in defense and security, promoting joint efforts among nations to address current challenges.
