On March 5, the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) participated in the X Ordinary Meeting of the Commission on Hemispheric Security (CSH) of the Organization of American States (OAS), held under the central theme "Advances and Challenges in the Implementation of Programs and Projects Related to Cyber Defense."
The JID was represented by Colonel Cristiano Rolim and Lieutenant Colonel Javier Hernandez, advisors in the Cyber Defense Section.
The session was chaired by Ambassador Carlos Bernardo Cherniak, First Vice President of the CSH, and included the participation of the Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador Laura Gil, the Secretary for Multidimensional Security, Ivan Marquez, and José Gabriel Salazar, Secretary of the CSH.
