On Tuesday, April 14, the Leadership of the Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) participated in the symposium “Haiti Today”, an academic space for reflection and analysis on the political, social, economic and security situation of the Republic of Haiti.
The event featured the valuable participation of officials from the Organization of American States, members of the IADB, and high-level speakers, who shared their perspectives and contributions on the challenges facing the sister country.
This meeting strengthens understanding of the current situation and allows for more effective guidance of cooperation efforts, technical assistance, and proposal development in support of hemispheric peace, security, and stability. It also reaffirms that stability in Haiti is not only a technical challenge but also a humanitarian and regional priority.
