The Inter-American Defense Board (IADB) held a protocol meeting with the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Laura Gil, on Friday, January 23, as part of the process of strengthening inter-institutional ties.
Representing the IADB were the Commander of the Peruvian Air Force, Paola Merino Urday, and the Lieutenant Colonel of the Mexican Army, Ariana Delgado, who addressed issues related to the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, within the framework of preparations for the Women, Peace and Security Seminar 2026, to be held on February 25, 2026.
This meeting reaffirms the IADB's commitment to promoting the Women, Peace and Security Agenda, as well as to working in coordination with the OAS to strengthen it in the hemispheric sphere.
